Sheath surrounding the follicle, there are two, namely inner and outer sheath, which is created to protect the hair shaft from damage and does not inhibit growth of hair biology, and to assist growth in the right direction. And the second is in the sheath. Sheath in the run to the side of the hair shaft and ends at the glands (sebaceous) oil. Outer sheath runs to the gland and ends at the erector pili muscle. This is the muscle that causes your hair stand up when startled.

Quantum Dots Broadening the Horizons of Biological Testing

Throughout biological testing, it is usually required to track substances to view where they are traveling in the biological organism. Traditionally, organic dyes had been used for these purposes. Yet, as time goes on and demands have arisen, dyes have been going by the wayside. Replacing them are quantum dots.

Greater brightness and photostability are key advantages

Quantum dots provide a selection of advantages over organic dyes. First, quantum dots are much brighter than organic dyes. This makes it a lot less difficult to differentiate where the dye is, and where it isn’t. An additional benefit of making use of quantum dots is their higher stability. This higher stability means that quantum dots are much less susceptible to photobleaching, which causes the dye to fade in the course of observation. Finally, quantum dots can produce results in significantly smaller amounts. All these benefits add to the overall convenience and superiority of using quantum dots.
